EPIA-PD current tests
Submitted by parkviewadmin on Sun, 2005-08-21 17:59.These tests where done with a 512MB compact flash card, and a Seagate Medalist 10232 Hard Drive, alternately connected to a VIA EPIA-PD 6000 motherboard with 256MB or RAM.
Power applied, but not switched on: 107mA
At switch on with HD: 2000mA+ (blew the Digital Multimeter 2A fuse!)
Running 'du /' with a HD: 1000 - 1200mA
compiling DHCP from source, 75% user activity, 0% idle with HD: 1250mA
command prompt, with nothing happening with HD: 1000mA
command prompt, with nothing happening with CF: 900mA
